₹1,000/month deposited by J&K Government in a fixed deposit in the name of a girl child from birth until she turns 21 — total government corpus of ₹2.52 lakh with compounded interest estimated to reach ₹6.5 lakh at maturity; girl receives the full matured amount at age 21; for families with annual income below ₹75,000; also covers girls born to migrant Kashmiri Pandits (about ₹12,000 one-time)
