How we check scheme information

Scheme rules change. This is how we keep the information correct — and how you can tell us when something is wrong.

Where the information comes from

How new schemes are added

New schemes are found from official announcements, from each state's own list of schemes, and from what people search for or request in the app. A scheme is published only after its details are checked against an official government (.gov.in / .nic.in) page; before it goes live on its own, the amount must also not disagree with a second official page. Anything that is not fully clear is reviewed by hand first.

Automatic checks

The official page of every scheme is re-read automatically on a regular schedule, and each scheme page shows the date it was last checked. Links that stop working are repaired, deadlines are updated, schemes that close are marked as closed, and a changed benefit amount is flagged and corrected after review.

Eligibility results

The Eligibility Checker applies each scheme's published conditions (state, age, income, category and so on) to your answers. Results are a guide — the final decision is always made by the government office that runs the scheme.

AI assistant

The in-app AI assistant answers from this scheme list and official sources. It can make mistakes, so always confirm important details on the official website.
