Lessee (patta) and sharecropping (batai) farmers are also covered. Death or disability must be caused by an accident; claim within 180 days.
Up to ₹5 lakh if a farmer (or dependent family member) dies or loses both hands, legs or eyes in an accident; smaller amounts for partial disability. Claim within 180 days of the accident.
Khatauni (land record) or lease / sharecropping proof, Aadhaar Card, Death Certificate + Post-mortem report / FIR (for death), CMO Disability Certificate (for disability), Legal heir / family proof, Bank Passbook.
