Age 60 or above. From a Below Poverty Line (BPL) household. Apply through your Gram Panchayat or municipal office.

₹200–₹500/month pension for BPL senior citizens (60+) (about ₹3,600 a year)

Aadhaar Card, Age Proof (60+), BPL Certificate, Bank Account.

Open nsap.nic.in and use the beneficiary search in the reports section (choose your state, district and area). Many states show old-age pension payments on their own social welfare / pension portal too. You can also check the credits in your bank or post office passbook.

Check that your Aadhaar is linked (seeded) to your bank account for DBT: on myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in → "Bank Seeding Status", or ask your bank branch. Yearly life certificate / verification pending — complete it at the block / tehsil social welfare office, bank or CSC.
