Financial assistance to BPL families and vulnerable groups for solemnising marriages of daughters — key benefits: ₹25,000 one-time cash assistance per marriage for daughters of BPL / EWS Sikkim Subject holder families; enhanced ₹30,000 for daughters belonging to SC/ST communities or differently-abled brides; assistance can be used for marriage expenses — wedding ceremony, household items, trousseau; collective/mass marriage (Samuhik Vivah) programme organised by district Social Welfare Office — fully subsidised ceremony covering meals, venue, registration, and ₹10,000 cash gift per couple; ₹5,000 special incentive for inter-caste marriage between Scheduled Caste and non-SC Sikkim Subject holders (promoting social harmony); free legal marriage registration support through sub-registrar office; widow remarriage assistance: ₹20,000 for widows below 45 years remarrying; applicable for the first two daughters only per family; girl must be above 18 years and groom above 21 years of age; application within 6 months of marriage
