Subsidised food grain entitlements for Sikkim Subject holders under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) topped up by the state — key benefits: Priority Household (PHH) beneficiaries receive 5 kg rice per person per month at ₹1/kg (below NFSA rate — fully subsidised by Sikkim state government); Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) families — the poorest of poor — receive 35 kg grain per family per month at ₹1/kg; additional state-funded supplementary nutrition: 1 litre edible oil per family per month at ₹20 (heavily subsidised); iodised salt pack at ₹2/kg; pulses (lentils) 1 kg per family at ₹10 under Chief Minister's Dal-Bhaat scheme; free monthly ration for destitute elderly (above 75 years) with no family support — doorstep delivery through Fair Price Shops; special nutritional supplement for pregnant & lactating women and children under 6 (in convergence with ICDS/Anganwadi); free school mid-day meal coverage for all government school students in Sikkim — includes egg / banana supplementation twice a week
